Is there a reason for not allowing SL entry to the trade in BO ?

Every product that is made available for the retail has to be first approved by the exchanges. We are working on getting this done.

I guess it has to do with automation.

When we are putting bracket orders with stop loss trigger to enter the trade, you also set Target and Stop Loss to exit all in one order. The order is almost automatic with respect to entry and exit.

Such activities are considered as automatic trading by NSE. Hence it is difficult to get their approval to provide this facility in zerodha. Still zerodha is pushing hard with NSE to get such facility.

This is what my understanding, when I read the related blogs. Please wait for better answer.
