Larsen is in process to take over MINDTREE and may not like Mindtree board recommendation of rs 20 per share Special dividend and as per media reports will oppose at AGM . it will let get the 4 rs final dividend approved .
is there any case among bse/nse listed companies where dividend proposed by board has been voted out at AGM ?
i think passing of special dividend require only SIMPLE RESOLUTION and not special resolution.
