If I want what to become an AP (Authorized Person) with a broking House, what qualification required for that and what is the procedure. I have completed my NISM VIII certification in Option and Derivatives. Does it benefits me. I am also doing technical analysis with self study by websites like Zerodha etc. Pls help me to clear details. Thanks a lot.
An individual, Partnership Firm, Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) and a Body Corporate meeting the requisite eligibility criteria prescribed by the stock exchange can become an Authorised Person. The individual should be a resident of India, Partnership Firm should be registered under Indian Partnership Act, 1932, LLP should be registered under the Indian Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 and Body Corporate should be registered under the Indian Companies Act, 1956.
Qualification:

Should be a citizen of India.

Should not be less than 18 years of age.

Should not have been convicted of any offence involving fraud and dishonesty.

Should have good reputation and character.

Should have passed at least 10th standard or equivalent examination from an institution recognized by the Government.

The Authorised Person shall also have the necessary infrastructure like adequate office space, equipment and manpower to effectively discharge the activities on behalf of the Trading Member.
