Is there any Restrictions on Positional Trading of SILVERMIC and GOLDPETAL?

I want to know if there’s any restrictions on Positional Trading of SILVERMIC and GOLDPETAL?? Does it requires Physical delivery or any other things to consider?

Kindly note Goldpetal is staggered delivery contract and Silvermic is cash settled contract. Goldpetal you have to close before the tender period starts to avoid physical delivery whereas silvermic you can carry till expiry day.
For more information you can check here.

Thank you Ragavendran, I will stay away from Goldpetal since I am a positional trader!

Zerodha still does not allow physical delivery of commodities ? @ShubhS9

No. We don’t offer physical delivery of commodities.

Sorry if I have missed, what is physical settlement?

In MCX terms, it means taking actual delivery of the contracts in which one has open positions. This FAQ explains it in much more detail.

can some1 , pls share some idea as to what is the number/percentage ratio (approx.) of traders/investors , in the MCX and in the NSE ; going for the physical delivery settlement ?
