When i do trade with Zerodha pi, i do backtest with tradescript but same time also thinking that should i go with python or amibroker or ninja trader or metatrader ? I am not very sure that all these platforms are really beneficial or pi is sufficient. Please suggest what you feel
First you need to identify what trading system ( method) suits you and then decide what tools required.

It depends on your trading strategy and style. Each tool having unique feature and first sort out the difference of those tools and compare with trading strategy. Whichever tool fit for your strategy go with it.
