When the chart is open, it forms candles with live ticks but when fetched it uses historical data to form candles, hence this difference. Historical server uses more ticks to form candles.

Switched to Upstox. I like how fast you can open the chart and place orders on it (swiping). Also the app opens up seamlessly without having to type in the pin every time unlike the new Kite app. That’s how a mobile app is supposed to be.
Kite data is apparently unreliable:
Kite wrongly showing IBULHSGFIN day’s low as 507.10
Upstox showing it correctly as 505.25

Now they put the message on phone lines. So they don’t even bother to answer the calls.

Zerodha is only concerned about quantity not quality. As long as they are the number one broker in terms of quantity, they are happy.
