Hi I bought 20 units of BHEL from BSE and 10 units from from NSE. But my holding section in Kite is showing 10 units in T1.
I bought them on the same day, order type CNC. Also I checked the equity contract notes, they do reflect all the transactions.
Can anyone help me out over here?
Stocks bought as CNC (equity delivery) start showing up in holdings from the next trading day (shows up in position tab on the day of purchase). But settlement cycle for stocks in India is 2 days (T+2), so stocks will be in the demat account only after two days from purchasing. Until stocks are delivered, they show up as T1 holdings. Also, when you buy the same stock from both NSE and BSE, only the stocks bought on NSE will be shown on Kite until T+2 days, but you can add the stock to the marketwatch and sell it if you wish to.
