Last decimal places in positions can be anything or multiple of 5?

Hello,

I have been using Zerodha for years and in my positions tab, I have always seen the final numbers as XYZ.00 or XYZ.45 or XYZ.75 and so on. The last 2 digits have always been multiples of 5.

My question is whether the Zerodha positions total code has been designed to round up things like that in multiples of 5 or the position’s total can also be XYZ.49 or XYZ.26 etc?

If there are multiple trades in the same scrip in a day, the average price will be calculated considering all your trades in that scrip on that day until that point. So the P&L will not be in multiples of .05. You can check out more details here.
