For options…

  1. Weekly and monthly option expiry is available only For indices like ( nifty and bank nifty) …
  2. And for particular stocks only monthly expiry of options is available not weekly expiry …

And…

For futures…

  1. Only monthly expiry is available for both indices and stocks…

Right… Please correct me if i am wrong…

Yes, this is right.

Even for Currency Derivatives, Options have Weekly and Monthly Expiry while Futures have Monthly Expiry.

I have some doubts… And want to clear this:-

  1. Is the lot size of Future contracts and Option contracts is same or different for a particular index or stocks?

  2. Is the lot size of F&O for the index or stocks changes or remain same.?

  1. Lot size is different for all the index and stocks. You can download the list from this link
    https://www1.nseindia.com/content/fo/fo_mktlots.csv

  2. It remains the same, it changes based on index or stocks prices, but we will know about it before time. So one need not to worry about changes in the contract size.

But sir i am asking like…
Let say the future contract lot size of nifty is 75… Will the options lot size be the same i.e 75 or it may be different???

For any particular scrip, Lot Size for Futures and Options will be the same.
