While entering the number of shares to buy: it would be great to have Kite suggest the maximum I can buy based on available limit.

you want the quantity to buy , how to decide it, then here it is:
if you have capital of 1 lakh and say you do not want to loose more than 500 rs (capital erosion) on a single trade because of stop loss. then this is how you have to calculate:
buy price: 300
stop loss: 280
quantity i will buy= 500 /(300-280) = 25
quantity to buy =
= (capital erosion) / (buy price - stop loss
further, the amount deployed on any trade should not cross more than 25% for any trade.
