Long term investment buying at BSE is best because of low Transaction charges compared to NSE?
Look at the transaction charges, it is a tiny part of your expenses while buying the shares for delivery. Also, between NSE and BSE it is a small difference.
There would be a difference of only 59 Rupees if you buy and sell 1 crore worth of shares in BSE vs NSE. The biggest charge would be STT which would be around 20,000, while other charges would amount to a measly 750 approx.
If you are buying heavy amount, I suggest you go with NSE as it’s easier to get out and in case of the top highly liquid shares, go with the one where you find it cheaper.
