Is margin for let’s say 13 k pe / 21 k ce December 22 strangle similar that for 13k/21k March 22 strangle ? Opstra shows almost double margin for long ter trades ? Why ? Seems no margin benefit being like it’s given in a monthly strangle …pls guide…
Not sure 100% but there’s an NSE rule for long options say more than 6-9 months requiring 1.25x more margin.
