Margin Funding for delivery trades

hi,
guys I am looking g for reliable broker for margin funding for delivery trades…as zerodha doesn’t offer a one, which one should go for?..

Have you heard of Zerodha
Its called Collateral Margin which you receive after a haircut against your pledged shared in delivery. In short - It does.

Hi Manish,
As per my knowledge , I have seen margin funding for delivery with SAS Online and Samco.
Not sure about reviews though.
Expecting comments from fellow investors.

Has the situation changed now with Zerodha ? or still no margin funding available ?
Any future plans for this @nithin ?
I am not talking about pledging.

Icicidirect offers shares as margin for 180 days delivery

Margin funding hopefully by April.

By that time networth rule equity delivery rules will be ready by sebi. So any case retail investors cannot take delivery based margins or leverage beyond their networth

So relax and wait for the delivery equity cap

Hai Sir, @siva-reddy and @nithin

We need margin funding like E-margin , some time good stock come at deep value buy , our money is blocked in some position , Through margin funding we can grab that oppourtunity ,
any thing we can except margin funding , its long time pending products from zerodha

Now that SEBI has tightened the screws on Intraday leverage, I think leverage for delivery trades will become more important. My hunch is that this kind of margin funding will become popular next. What do you think ?

Are there any plans by SEBI to clamp down even this ? :man_facepalming:
If not, when will Zerodha start this ?
I want to be mostly an equities swing trader.

3 complete years, any plans in future ?

Many things changed in the last 3 years in terms of how a broker can offer margin funding. This has gotten a lot more complex in back end operations. We are currently working on being ready for T+1 settlement, once done we will start working on margin funding.
