Market Orders in Iceberg

Zerodha Team, Can you please enable marker orders in Iceberg as its very difficult to place limit order or sticky window when dealing with huge qty and trying to deal with sudden movements in market.

Let it leave up to to individuals to decide as whether they want to place Market or limit in Iceberg order. Due to this lot of us are moving to Dhan now

Ah no, we were asked by exchanges to stop offering the market order feature. By the way, if you placed the limit price slightly far away, it will act exactly as market, but with a protection of sorts too.

Hi @yogesh_somvanshi We’ve stopped market orders due to regulatory reasons as iceberg is technically an execution algo, and algos aren’t allowed to have market orders. The way to get around this is to put a limit order at a higher price for buy and lower for sell.
