Suppose the minimum investment amount for a fund is Rs 5000 and the Minimum Additional amount is 100. So if try to place an order of Rs 5040 for the first time, would the no. of units be with respect to Rs 5040 or 5000?
Similarly once subscribed to the fund, if try to a place an order of Rs 140 (min additional amt was 100), would the no. of units be with respect to Rs 140 or 100?
The units allotted to you will be with respect to Rs.5040/-
The units will be with respect to the investment amount of Rs.140/- this is because whatever amount you will mention in the dialogue box on coin will be applicable.
The amount will be invested in the mutual fund scheme and the amount will be debited from your trading account and this will reflect in your order history as well. You can refer to this link to know more about the Minimum initial investment.
