QUESTION
JUST SAW LIST OF STOCKS FOR MTF
why 3-4 stocks in the list have leverage as 1 time ,so it means no leverage on it at all,so why mentioned in list at first place and
please have mtf calculator link somwhere too just to take a guess on approx profits ,also
when unlimited holding period gonna come ?
Can you share the link or screenshot where you are referring?
Those scrips moved to Long term ASM by exchange which means 100% has to be collected. If the scrip moves out of ASM leverage will be provided again.

MTF in Zerodha is amazing but we need 2 more features.
1- MTF trading through Mobile KITE app (I took MTF position from Laptop Kite web and there is no option to place SL, we have to update SL everyday, I went outside later I checked my positional stocks were falling but there is no option in mobile app to place SL and to exit the position as well)
2- Unlimited holing period

Just a thought.
They said F&O is bad for retailer. After covid Future margin reduced. then recently lots of changes has been made in the section of F&O, then MTF started getting popular. all broker will introduce this. In future NBFC also will start funding this in the name of Margin Trading Loanā¦ Interest rate may reduced to 8% per year in the next 10 year. Lots of people will trade using MTF and make huge loss, some broker may went bankrupt, then suddenly MTF will stop by SEBI.

App should have it in few weeks, also soon GTT will be available on MTF.
It is unlimited holding period now also.

We allow, did you faced any issue?
Took MTF positions today. The next step is to pledge the same by 7pm. I believe the pledge will be triggered by 5pm via email & SMS.

Yesterday evening (27 Oct 2024) I was not able to place AMO order for MTF Positionsā¦
Market Pre Opening Orders were accepted at 9am morningā¦!!!
Also I would suggest MTF Pledge timings to be 4pm instead of 5.30pmā¦bcoz trader may forget pledging Shares due to 2 hours gap after market closesā¦Thanks

This requirement to approve pledge is going away from November 14. After that, MTF shares will be auto pledged without need for OTP from the client

AMO Orders should ALSO contain MTF Orders, for Pre Market Tradeā¦
This should be available in next few weeks.
