Not as handy as the above link but you can also refer to circulars titled âRevised list of Approved Securities and Approved Banksâ on the NSE website. It contains a single Excel file with information about approved Stocks/MFs/SGBs/G-Secs/T-Bills/Bonds. It also contains an additional data point about whether a security is part of the cash component or non-cash component. These circulars are released once a month (around the 20th of the month). They are released separately for each market segment (like F&O, Currency, etc) but usually contain the same list.
Hey @Nakul, can you add Motilal Oswal S & P 500 Index Fund direct (INF247L01AG2) to Zerodhaâs approved security list as well? Itâs there in the clearing corporationâs list which came out today: NCL/CMPT/48682
Donât see it being added to the Zerodha July list which came out today, @Nakul.
It should really have been added automatically but why has it not been added despite continuously asking for it? The below post is from May:
As nakul replied we update this list once a month normally, ideally if that is allowed we should allow from today, @Nakul is checking and will update here.
The S&P fund youâve spoken about was allowed by the exchange from this month. Hence, we update our approved list of securities at the start of every month. MFâs are added after confirming the market-wide limit and the member-specific security limits. There are a few other checks we perform in the backend before allowing any security to pledge. You can expect new securities to be added by the 2nd or the 3rd working day of every month.
