Can you explain in detail, please.

@siva This is also adding one by one,
we ask like this 10 or more stocks
(“HDFCBANK”, “RELIANCE”, “ICICIBANK”, “BHARTIARTL”) copy & paste enter, all stocks will add my watchlist

or refer my previous request post about watchlist

:two: Add Multiple Stocks to Watchlist

Like TradingView, allow users to add multiple symbols at once — for example:

kite search box Multiple Stocks paste

NSE:JINDALSTEL, NSE:NYKAA, NSE:IPCALAB, NSE:SAILIFE

Also, provide an option to import watchlists via CSV or through Kite Connect API.
This will save a significant amount of time for traders who manage multiple scanner result stocks on a daily basis.

You can do this, after pasting select each one and enter.

This is already noted, can’t give any ETA.

Please add the option to add upto 5 bank accounts

@siva For example, I am an intraday trader. I use an intraday screener that gives me around 50 stocks. I download that data as a CSV file and extract the symbols like “HDFCBANK”, “RELIANCE”, “ICICIBANK”, “BHARTIARTL”, etc.

Now, when I try to add these 50 stocks into a Zerodha watchlist, the current method requires selecting each stock one by one and pressing enter(50 mouse clicks). Do you really think this is efficient?

As a developer, the goal should be to solve problems in the simplest and most practical way—not make them more complicated.

I’ve been following your platform for the past 6 months. It feels like either the tech team is small or the implementation process is too slow. Also, It feels like many developers don’t truly understand the real-world challenges of trading workflows

Traders—whether scalpers, intraday traders, swing traders, or investors—face real-time pressure and operational challenges every day in the market. These small inefficiencies create significant friction.

I hope you understand our perspective and consider building features from an actual trader’s point of view.

Hi @siva , I tried this but couldn’t add multiple names at once. Could you please share a video or explain the steps in a bit more detail?

Thanks @Prasad_G , this wasn’t working for me earlier. When I clicked the “+ (add to marketwatch)” button, the symbol page was closing automatically.

After watching your recording, I created a new watchlist and was able to add multiple names there. I’m not sure why it was closing before, but now I can add multiple names to the previous watchlists as well.

One more suggestion @siva : instead of clicking the “+” for each name, it would be helpful if adding to the watchlist also worked by pressing Enter, similar to TradingView. This would make it much easier.

bro !! do you think it would be the best UX to have ? I would expect a CSV to input and on return I would see all of them getting added to my selected group of watchlists … is this feature a real pain in ass to develop I’m really surprised TBH

Best example is Trading view watchlist edition or even Upstox … forget about Groww they only care about MTF and useless alerts and F&O … I even think zerodha is more inclined to the same except the alerts part :man_shrugging::man_shrugging:

Which is the worst UX decision IMO  … why would I need to click each of the member again, basic 101 features are not taken care but advanced useless ones are being

Thanks to those audience too

:100::100: with the AI around, not sure why Zerodha devs are lagging behind !! these are not the super hard features to develop too IMO - atleast I’m qualified to say this as a dev myself :stuck_out_tongue: (Unless the tokens expires lol)

Tried Kite API?
