nice will be an option to mazimise all market watch within the group on 1 click
Thanks a lot
Hello there, i like to track all nifty500 stocks but the watchlists are limited to 250 stocks each and the discover option has no predefined list of nifty500 stocks, can we have the nifty500 predefined watchlist which when added to ‘my list’ gets added to 2 watchlists with 250 stocks each.
I am Really looking forward for the rollout of this new update.
pre defined market watchlist index stocks sort by weightage.
Noted as feedback.

In the new MarketWatch, the settings menu overlaps with the first few symbols in the watchlist. This makes it hard to see sorting updates when there are fewer symbols. Could you please rearrange the popup so the entire watchlist remains visible while sorting?
I’m a bit unsure. When there are few symbols, why would someone sort it? We will check the feasibility anyway.
@Arockiya_Raja
Suppose there are 8–10 stocks, and I want to sort them by % change. Even though there’s an arrow on the % change column, it’s easier to visually understand the sorting direction (up or down) just by looking at the watchlist.
Similarly when there are many scrips, say around 100, almost half the screen gets blocked by the pop-up, making it hard to visually see how they are sorted. To check the sorting direction, we have to close the pop-up.
Earlier, when the sorting option was at the bottom, it was much easier to understand the sorting direction just by looking at the first few stocks. If the first stock was green or red, we could instantly tell whether the list was sorted in ascending or descending order. I hope you understand the issue and work on improving this.
Hi Zerodha team,
Request you to please look into this small feature, pending since many months… if it can be part of the new kite.
thanks
Can we see nifty 500 and nifty total market 750 in predefined watchlist? If not please add. Because i scan nifty total market cap 750 weekly.
Understand. We will discuss this.
Sure, we will work on this ASAP. Displaying only total PNL alone on the top would not look proper. We have something planned for this; we will pick it up this month or next.
Dude, I’ve seen you shit-posting about Zerodha every single time and hyping up Dhan like it’s good . If you don’t like Zerodha, don’t use it. It’s that simple. I genuinely liked the new watchlist feature. No need to cry under every post.
@Arockiya_Raja if any composition changes, can we get a notif or something? if it’s customized, maybe we can just update it manually?
You can load again from discover, but if any index changes we will update bulliten and on qna, one has to manually monitor.
Hi @thisisbanerjee, it took a few minutes to check this. I deleted the comment and restricted the user. We always encourage conversations based on mutual respect in spite of disagreements. Anyone who is not following community guidelines shall be warned and removed.
If predefined watchlist is not customised by user then it will be automatically updated but if user changes composition then we can’t obviously update it.
“Three-dot menu” in the search section
Currently users cannot directly access fundamentals, technicals , option chains, or pop-out charts directly from the search section.
we must first add the instrument to the watchlist, then allows us to access these features. However, this requires additional effort and time.
want a “three-dot menu” in the search section itself. This addition would allow users to access these features directly from the search section without adding to the watchlist.
Scrolling Issue in Watchlist
I am experiencing a scrolling issue with the watchlist. Over-scrolling unintentionally affects other sections, like the dashboard or chart. When there are few instruments, accidental scrolling also disrupts other sections.
@Arockiya_Raja Much needed improvements
- Expecting watch list hide option so that we can use big chart area
- Hide option for panel below chart(open, high ,low , close)
- by pressing up / down arrow change chart of next or previous symbol
