That was my thinking in Aug last week. I was actually expecting Nifty to go to 25000+ for one final rally, meanwhile Smallcap keeps sideways.
But after watching Nifty weakness, HDFC breaking major support of 720, and few other things, I ruled that out and became full bear on 27th Aug.
