Market opened gap down and closed with green candle(O= 16847.95, C=17092.20). While % change in NIFTY 50 index is showing in negative(-0.67% i.e -114.45 points) on 22/Feb/2022.
Can you please tell me why both things are opposite.

Bar Color depends on the relative position between the open and close.
% is calculated from previous day’s close.

This itself answers your question. Close is Greater than Open, Hence the color Green.
This is Comparision with Close of yesterday to Close of today.
