NSE has increased the quantity freeze limits for index futures and options.

The revised limits will be applicable from October 5, 2026.
In simple terms, traders can now place almost 2x bigger index F&O orders in a single go before hitting the quantity freeze limit. We’ll also update our Autoslice feature to use the revised freeze limits from October 5, 2026.
