Hi , As per the todays FII and DII trading activity on NSE & BSE - FII’s bought Rs 4984/- Crores worth equity and DII’s bought Rs 1030/- Crores worth equity. But Nifty down by 100 points and Sensex down by 340 points. If FII and DII both were buyers , who is the sellers here ?.

Well according to me, Infy had played a major role in dragging down, because it holds substantial weightage in NIFTY 50, and partially TCS tooo.
infy plays a major role in dragging the whole IT INDEX down and as you know emotions play a bigger role in the market , due to IT INDEX down and as the dip become large in IT INDEX , corection becomes depper in the market.
The reason for the big buy figure is because of the Infy deal. Some of the founders of Infy sold shares worth 6000 crores and the buyers were Fii’s and Dii’s.
Ok, But retail participation is very low- isn’t it ?
