In the margin page its written…option buying is only enabled for Nifty…expect Nifty I cannot buy any other options?

Yes, Bracket orders are allowed only on NIFTY. You can place both BUY & SELL Bracker orders.
So for options of other scrips I can do initiate buy and sell(short) using MIS/NRML but cannot use Bracket Orders .Is this the right understanding?
That’s right! Although, keep in mind that you won’t be allowed to place market orders for stock options
