Long time back I was option buyer and blown out one time. Then option seller for 3 years and got only return of fixed deposits. Then moved to index investing. I am here for more understanding of options from other traders. And looking for any concrete idea to start buy/sell again.
Tell me why you choose nifty eventhough bnf has huge movement which is required for buyers.
I have a trend following system. Nifty is far less volatile than Banknifty and so a much better trend following instrument for me - Trend Following The Nifty Index
Well blowing out is not a problem if you didnât blow up too much. If you stay persistent on this path you are likely to find what works for you.
For me option selling works. Been 2 years and so far itâs good. So according to me it all depends on what you are comfy with. Both have their own pros and cons. As long as you know whats the maximum you can lose, its fine. Basically stick to your rules and keep emotions aside.
There is nothing as R:R in optionsâŚTry to judge the directionâŚif wrong get out fast.
Carrying to next day is normally not recommended, unless we have some good indicators.
My sucess rate is about 60%.
