Option contract position

Hello,

If I hold option contract for month or more where that position it will go.

In equity share hold in Demat like option contract go to demat account ? and is it chargeable like DP charges

If it is index option it will be cash settled,
If it is a stock option you have to give/take delivery of shares.

Upon expiry, Option contract ceases to exist.

No, Options don’t go in Demat account. And there are no DP charges on Options or Futures.
