When is the premium for selling call option credited in clients account? Is it immediately on selling the call or after expiry? If it is after expiry, then, where it is reflected in client’s account and how many days after expiry?
Premium is credited as soon as you take the position.
Options Premium shown under the funds tab in Kite is the total premium received from shorting/writing options. The Cash margin available is inclusive of this amount, but the breakdown is provided here as option premium under the funds tab.
