Order Book shows stock option expiry as 17 Nov. Why?

Can someone clear this doubt please. I have open position on some stocks call option. say stock is ACC it shows
ACC17NOV1850CE

why does it shows 17 Nov? shouldnt it be 30th Nov?

17 Nov cause its year 2017

The expiry for equity f&o is always the last Thursday of the month. If last Thursday is a Holiday, then expiry on previous trading day.

got little confused. as it was 17NOV, so thought it as DDMM instead of YYMM
