PGIM India Ultra Short Term Fund crashed by 30%+. Should I stay invested?

Hi,

I invested in DHFL Pramerica ultra short term bond fund which is now PGIM India Ultra Short Term fund. Due to the recent default, it crashed by 30%, due to the rating downgrade to ‘D’. I incurred heavy losses due to this.

There are not many recommendations online if its a good idea to stay invested or to get out of the fund. I am not sure how this works, will the rating be upgraded and the NAV of the fund will be back on track or at least increase?

Please provide me your suggestions on if I should stay invested or redeem my investment from this fund.

Thanks!
