Is there is a way to place an FnO order (either market / limit) sharply at market open at 9:15:00 am? There are times when we need to place an order as quickly as possible at market open and I am not good with fastest finger…

Tough for anyone to get the first tick at the exchange. Millions of orders queue up at 9.15 am. So even if you exactly fire the order at 9.15, you have to just rely on luck to get the first tick of the day. Btw for most traders the best thing to do is to not try trading the first minute on the exchange, there are many times when there are stray ticks due to market orders which can create huge impact cost on your accounts.
