Previous poll: [🏅 @santosh7][POLL][2026-08-25]Where will NIFTY close this month's expiry?

Next poll:

Expecting 25000+ first.

But Smallcap index is over-stretched and ready for a good correction.

So probably Nifty will be back to 24000 by expiry.

Voted for 24K

25000 not possible now.

HDFC has broken major support. Smallcap index is ready for big fall.

This is first time since 31st March that I am turning full bear.

Changing my vote to 23500 :mask:

Have you taken any Nifty short side , today was the great day for short selling

Wait for confirmation?

I was actually on wrong side today. I dont like to short so close to lower Bollinger band.

I will wait for bounce and then short.

Now this give me confidence. Bulls give up and then that move comes in.

Traders are not bulls or bears.

We need FII’s level kind of investment for growth.

Yeah. Traders are on the wrong side most of the time. So I like it when traders turn negative.
Sometimes they are right too.

For me Traders are pro-active and moves the market where as most of the Investors are Inactive / arm chaired :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeahhh. The way I see it, traders make noise

90 percent of traders make losses and say 99 percent of investors build wealth over a period of long time.

There are always exceptions. I strongly believe you are in the 10percent of those traders and may not know the behaviour of the remaining 90 percent.

Yes its true ,but controlling the impulsiveness of the Human nature is really tough , i learned it in a hard way, i do invest also , but my point is that , i want to take the benefit of my investment in my life time itself, rather than my grand children getting the benefit :slightly_smiling_face:

Last trading session was a great short opportunity. I still wouldn’t be so sure shorting now though. 24k may have a bounce.

Yeah i dont take such trades where risk reward is bad.

Max downside 300 points (gap zone), risk is 300 points (easily it could have bounced to 24400). So 1:1 risk reward is horrible.

Better opportunity to short will come next, and it will be a bigger fall. Already Small mid indices have given clue now.

Normally its really not easy to get 1:1 RR in option trading

My style of option trading is different

I do max 3-5 trades per month.
Minimum 1:3 risk reward.
NO stop loss.

Basically i wait for a good opportunity, else I dont trade. There have been months I have not traded options.
