Predict Jane move today (from 24200):
  • No large moves from here
  • -150
  • +150
  • -300
  • +300
0 voters

Why do you give 150+/- option

I don’t understand. Should I give 200? It’s based on range. Main Poll is also based on ATR. If the range is high, the options are spread wide apart.

Multiple option of 100s both side

+/-100 isn’t a Jane move. It should be abrupt, fast and catch many offguard(preferably preceded by a fake move on the opposite side). That’s how their money is made. 150 is the minimum for that effect, IMO.

Last 15min

In hindsight, that’s a moneymint.

Guys one investment decision i taken here

BSE Ltd shares

if you buy BSE shares 1 lakhs in 2021 - now its worth 44 lkahs
current dividend you are getting 425k per annum - including bonus also

CAGR of 64%

simply invest and forget in top companies will work super - same in hdfc amc

now i am looking in Canara AMC, icici AMC - they are increasing dividend YOY basic very high

HDFC AMC beginning they give 12 rupees , now close to 100 rupees - yoy increasing 10x dividend increase

i am now focusing AMC stock and Some broking stock only- for my retirement purpose - after 50s trading not good - looking passive income to generate and growth

if anyone invest 5 lakhs now its worth 2.1 crores , and every year 4+ lakhs as dividend

i already invested in canara AMC and ICICI amc - lets see next 5 years -

OUR LIFE WILL BE SETTELED

Congrats to minipoll winners: @TradeB2B @Shubhanshu

You gave 150+ points option only

“No large moves” was an option. Anything between +150 to -150 isn’t considered large.

What do you guys think? Is this reversal or dead cat bounce?

Maybe you’re right, but I’m not convinced. They timeperiod you selected was the bull run from Covid low. That’s selection bias. Maybe we’ll have another bull run that doubles NIFTY in 4 years like before, but it’s not guaranteed.

While it is easy to choose winners in hindsight,
please do consider the scenarios where one ends-up picking and holding a stagnant asset
with nominal or even negative returns.

One way to minimize one’s chances of ending-up in such scenarios,
would be to diversify across instruments, assets classes, time-horizons, …

Good Luck! :slightly_smiling_face::+1:t4:

But you can’t receive such huge returns, if you do.

Govt plans to tax data usage. Short Telecom?

From the safety of a solid diversified foundation,
one can always take the next step to setup a “barbell”,
if one wants to take calculated risks or even wildly speculate for potential upside.

However, the real solution* is to realize that one doesn’t actually even need such huge returns to be successful, or happy, or fulfilled. But, at that point, one is creeping well beyond pure finance and into the territory of human-psychology and religious beliefs.

* = not a solution within the scope of a purely “maximize number” financial perspective.
