For nine months ended dec 24 this bank made a total income of 95,866 cr
They might have ordered this book costing 7 cr.
The idea would be to give it away as compliments to their customer. Dont understand the hue and cry.
I see idfc bank ads on cricket stadium which means they must have paid for this and comes under advertisement budget. They have roped in Big B in all of their ads in internet. I am sure Big B must have charged them heavy. Do anyone open a bank ac just because big B is on the website. Never understood. Cricket i can still understand as their name idfc is seen by millions.
Federal bank gives out bags etc during year end to attract casa.
For a bank which has a revenue of what was mentioned is this such a issue.
Many years ago banks as a practice used to give gifts such as calendar leather wallet xmas cakes etc to customers.
At least they are giving a book and not buying spots for a cricket match.
