Quantity for nifty is capped at 7500 per order. Why?

I Zerodha, Why is the maximum qty. 7500 only (100 lots) per order? Can this not be increased?
Sometimes I may have more quantity and a quick exit is not possible with this limitation.
Appreciate if someone can help me with a solution.

Aah. got it!
But at times, I remember seeing higher quantities in order book. Is it possible that multiple orders are put together and sent by brokers to exchange?

hehe. well not “rich” but “aspiring”.
BUY/SELL of an option priced at 10 X 7500 is not a lot :slight_smile:
