Suppose i made a buy order for a mf ,then i want to start an sip with first installment starting next month . so is it posiible that i can start the sip without initial investment for the same fund?
If you’ve already invested in any mutual fund, the initial investment will not be required while setting-up SIP.
If you’ve not invested, then the initial investment amount will be required before starting SIP. However, you can also start AMC SIP, this does not require an initial investment amount but once the SIP is set up you won’t be able to use features like pause/resume/step-up.
