Query on margin benefit

Hi,

I know that we get margin benefit for hedged positions like sell ATM CE and BUY deep OTM CE.

But if I already have a deep OTM CE that I bought yesterday, can I SELL ATM CE today and avail margin nemefit?

To put it simply, is there any time gap that we need to maintain to avail this margin benefit or can it be bought on 2 different days as well (BUY on one day and SELL on another day)?

There is no such restriction, you can execute another position anytime and you will get the margin benefit.
