IMO, do nothing bcos you are not going to get anything with 3K.
Think of it as a lottery ticket with no expiry date.
Psychologically if it hurts to see the Red, then sell it and spend 3K on a family/friend outing and forget about it.
Investing is about a portfolio, not a single stock like Trading is about a large sample and not a single trade.

You can invest like 2k on yes bank then calculate average value then wait 5 years it will be jackpot call
