questions on pledging of stocks and ETF

Hi ,

I just had couple of questions on pledging.

1. Can cash equivalent part of pledging of stocks be covered with pledging of SGBs and Liquid Funds ?

2. I noticed Pledging action is triggered from CDSL can we use the same pledge securities on different broker
   platform?
   eg: I pledge stocks via Zerodha can i use same collateral for trading using different broker ?

Yes, since both SGBs and Liquid Funds are considered equivalent to cash.

Nope, you cannot use the collateral margin received from Zerodha to trade using a different broker.
