Ratio Charts and Custom Indices on Kite

Hi Zerodha team,

You have been doing a great job to keep the trading smooth and hassle-free. However, there are moments everyday when I still have to open tradingview.com or even access some of its paid features and that is a drag on the experience for me. I would request the team to kindly incorporate the following features on Kite:

  1. Mathematical operations on stocks and indices - For example: If I want to create a custom index to track the railway stocks like (IRFC + RVNL + IRCTC + RAILTEL + IRCON) - to do this, I have to go to trading view. Though, I maintain my entire watchlist on Kite, but to track the custom indices that I have made, I have to open tradingview, which is inconvenient.
  2. Extending the mathematical operations, if I have to track a ratio chart, lets say: CNX500/GOLD, then it isn’t possible on Kite. I have to open tradingview for the same.
  3. RVol is one indicator that I use as a part of my strategy to enter the trade. To access this feature, I have to pay to tradingview. Again, the challenge is - I am maintaining all my watchlists on Kite, but to execute the trades, I have to open tradingview.

I hope the team will look into the same and do the needful.

If zerodha provides this they will be industry first broker to do so, I use these mathematical operations and ratios on TradingView. Surely will Love to use them on zerodha too.

Will take it as feedback but don’t think these are possible on kite any time soon.
