Please can anyone explain the reason for this particular bug in Kite. (September 2017)
I see this often in charts. If you see the white area which I have highlighted, the very small red candle should be green as it closed higher than its previous trading day.
Is it Reuters feed bug or chart bug from Zerodha’s end??

You are using daily chart here .
And in Japanese candlesticks color depends on open and close and not on previous close and current close .
Get it?
So if the closing price of the candle is lower than its opening price, then the candle is red. And vice-versa. Correct?

And why are you embarrassing me sir? I thought you are yourself zerodha contracted content creator.
But same is not true for volume and colored bar charts.
In both of them color of a bar is decided by previous close and current close prices
