As a Indian resident , if you sell your Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) shares in the US, can you retain the sale proceeds in dollars abroad and invest in other foreign company shares (on say Nasdaq, NYSE)? Or do you have to remit the sale proceeds back to India?
