Restricted Shorting for certain stocks

I was trying to sell(MIS) certain stocks like KiriIndus,UPERGANGES, but its getting rejected, may i know why it is getting rejected?

I think they don’t allow any intraday trades in these stocks. Since these stocks hit circuits quite often, intraday trading is not allowed.

Oh ok, is there any list of stocks in this category?

If your stock isn’t on there, then you’ll have to place CNC orders.
