As per current circular nothing stops from using unless it is specifically mentioned we can’t.
Can the new limit of 10 orders per second be implemented without any provision to register the algorithm? Or they will delay the implementation until registration process is announced?
This change is scheduled to go live on August 1, but currently, there is no available method to register our algorithms, which is quite concerning.
BTW, Upstox allows up to 50 orders per second, Angel One permits 20 orders per second, and 5Paisa offers a limit of 25 orders per second. Many major brokers even allow limits exceeding 50 orders per second. Given this, it is unclear why NSE has opted for a significantly lower limit of just 10 orders per second.
Could you please clarify the instructions brokers have received regarding the new SEBI regulations?
To your knowledge, are all brokers required to implement the 10 orders per second limit along with mandatory static IP addresses by August 1, 2025, even if the registration process hasn’t been released yet?
If this is the case, are you already working on integrating these changes into your systems, and will you be prepared ahead of the August 1, 2025 deadline if NSE does not extend the deadline?
I have not seen any broker implementing these changes so far, and will all brokers suddenly implement it on 1st aug 2025 morning?
Exchanges has to release some guidelines around it.
This is not a big change so guess we can do.

If yes, that’s a relief to hear, since implementing these changes without registration process will impact me a lot (10 order per second is too less)
Believe NSE will update something around this, atleaset if brokers should start doing this or not, but this is a small change for brokers.
