I bought GSec for testing purpose on Apr 7 and today is Apr 9 so it should be credited to my account right?
How do I sell these stocks as they are not at all reflecting in either Kite or Coin. Its only reflected in Console.
Settlement in T+2 working days (not calendar days. i.e. excluding weekends and holidays).
So, maybe wait till end of Monday (11 APR 2022) for the scrip to reflect in Kite.
On 12 APR 2022, you should be able to offer the scrip for sale on NSE in Kite.
However, looking at the past trade history of the scrip,
it is unlikely you will be able to sell it off soon unless you offer it at a significant discount.

As you can see, it is barely traded, that too randomly every few weeks/months.

I forgot that today is saturday.
Thats not an issue. I just wanted to know that if some urgency comes I can sell it or not.
The reason why I asked the question is I had doubt whether GSec are easily saleable or not because banks offer 4-5% interest for FD. No option of selling, withdrawing money. Just give money to bank and do nothing. Since GSec is offering more interest rate and also paying interest periodically, I thought it must be too good to be true. Also banks can go bankrupt but I don’t think India can go bankrupt so easily.

IndusInd bank offer 6.5% on a FD.
