Sensibull - The Options Trading Platform

When logging in, Kite shows what permissions are requested. You can assume anything under those can be accessed, even if the app itself does not access them.

Holdings too, not just positions.

To ensure, doubts on your platform are warded off - wish you could think of

  1. having a seperate Sensibull ID, who
  • Want to only test strategies and
  • don’t want to share even their Zerodha Client ID. OR
  1. Integrate Sensibull directly with Kite Platform.

Please do consider my feedback/view.

Wish you a Great Day Ahead !

You can just not login. Are there any features that are locked behind a login?

Is there any plan from Sensibull to introduce back testing feature? I frequently subscribe to opstra for this but I like the interface of Sensibull and ready to pay for it, if available.

@Sensibull

Hi Abid ji,

Please consider Adding following features for Paper Trading on Sensibull

  • Virtual Money (User may define amount),
  • Margins required(margin equal to Real Trading)
  • Virtual Money balance left (after its utilization of it for paper trade)

It would give full fledged experience.

Hope you consider request & hope to see my request turning to reality soon.

Hello,

Thank you for the feature request.

Virtual money and Balance - Let me see if we can do this. The last time I checked, the regulations were not okay with having “virtual money”. Margins we will add

Tough one. We still are not sure if there is a meaningful backtest feature we can build that helps user make money. Are you talking about simulator, or backtest btw

Abid ji,

Thank you for considering my request :slightly_smiling_face:.

Recently Tradingview stopped Paper trading for India.

Have regulations regulations changed recently & stopping them too?

I want to request an option strategy simulator with Expired Options
That allows users to recreate option strategies with expired options’ historical prices and Greeks
For example, I want to see what would have happened if I had used Options Spread in the past week.

@Sensibull can the draft portfolios be made in such a way that they account for the charges we would have incurred??

Yes Mr Abid, simulator like opstra would be fantastic option with Sensibull. We can test out various multilegged strategies on how they behaved in any particular market and can optimize/modify them. It’s very helpful, makes money for the users or rather saves a lot of money for the users by not going for a specific strategy at specific time. Shouldn’t be a major issue to build as many like Opstra, stockmock etc have this already.

Hi @sanjayn ,

Sensibul have a virtual portfolio (/draft portfolio) option , is this will be same as a simulator or simulator have more option than virtual portfolio (draft portfolio) option present in Sensibul ? . I am Just asking to learn more . Thanks in advance…

It’s much more than virtual portfolio. It’s about creating a strategy and checking how it performs at a specific time for a specific expiry. Like you are trading in past. Check this https://youtu.be/JyfM2SuDQYs?si=AMb-nC8qqIpCA9ft

Hi @sanjayn ,
Thank You…
As per my understanding .
Use Backtest via Streak .
Use Forward testing via Sensibul .

It’s about creating a strategy and checking how it performs at a specific time for a specific expiry

The proposed idea is a Single tool for Backtest and Forward testing ? Please help me to learn more about this …

@Sensibull
At least start MARKET ORDERS for SENSEX & BANKEX :expressionless: :no_mouth:

Been at least 6-7 months since Z started MARKET ORDERS

In the name of customization or adding features you are making it worse, The draft portfolios/Virtual trading was simple earlier, now its been modified and painted with colors,

earlier one was simple and easy to see in Black and white. This is ugly.

Please keep in mind, the more simpler the platform the more simpler for the user to use.

The customizations you keep on doing everyday is like adding more indicators to a chart.

in the end the chart will not be visible only indicators.

Atleast have something like Lite version/old version for people like me who like it to be simple.

P.S You do what ever you want on the other parts, Please leave strategy builder, Draft portfolios, option chain and Open Interest as it is. there is a dark mode for people who want it. so please don’t color it or in the name of adding features don’t make it clumsy.

  1. @Sensibull pls make order windows remember these settings in cookie/cache so we dont have to choose everytime

image

  1. i trade only 10 lots of each contracts in a basket at a time to avoid price jump, can we have repeat option on completed basket order so we dont have to go through builder to repeat the order again and again.

  2. now that we can use equity margin to trade commodity, any plan on introducing commodity to sensibull? also why BSE options dont have option chain and open interest?

4.builder and basket order window showing different margin req, check that too please.

@Sensibull Are there any restriction why you can’t show realtime option prices in Option Strategy Builder? It is 1 min refreshed when broker shows option prices in realtime…

Hi @Abid_hassan ,
Why are you using the opposite colour for OI? The global convention is to represent CALL as GREEN and PUT as RED, but you are using the opposite, and it is totally confusing psychologically. At least you should provide an option to change the colour palette based on the user’s preference.

@Ram_K_Temp Because OI is seen from a seller’s perspective. The convention is buyers lose, sellers win. It’s because it takes big money(margin) to sell. And big money moves the indexes after taking positions in the derivatives.

Put sell → Sellers sold → Sellers expected to move the market up → Green
Call sell → Sellers sold → Sellers expected to move the market down → Red
