Can i able to short a stock using CNC so that i can get extra 10 minutes on that day which is 15:20 to 15:30. Is this possible and will it be count as an intraday trade if i buy back the stock in between 15:20 to 15:30 hrs using CNC on the same day.
Yes, you can Short using CNC and hold your OPEN POSITION till 3:29 PM only if you have the same stock in your DEMAT Account.

wat if I don’t have that stock in my demat account then i am guessing it’s need to be square off before 15:20 hrs not 15:30 hrs… 
Well, If you do not have the stock in demat, you cannot short in CNC any way.
In this case the only option is MIS, and this gets squared off automatically at 3:20.
