I just wanted to know what is the pros and cons of investing in mutual funds through SIP and buying mutual fund units through exchange. Which will be the best to start with.

Investing in SIP is the best option since nobody can time the market,By SIP you can buy more units when market is down and less units when bull market it is a way to remain invested all phases of the market for long term or till you get your financial goal. I advise you to buy direct plans from mutual fund as they have low expense ratio.You can always increase or decrease SIP at any time.
