Hello,
I’ve been trying to figure out something about the SL order and can’t seem to speculate the outcome. Please read below to know the scenario.
LTP = 200
Now, I want to place a Buy Order above LTP and for this I’ll be using an SL Buy Order.
The parameters for SL Buy order are as follows,
Trigger Price = 210
Price = 211
Quantity = 1
Later when the SL Buy order gets executed I will place a new SL Sell Order to exit the position. But along with exiting the position, I also want to place a new Sell Position right where the Buy Order was exited.
The parameters for SL Sell order are as follows,
Trigger Price = 190
Price = 189
Quantity = 3
Since I mentioned the quantity as 3, what will happen when the the SL Sell order is triggered?
Will it square-off my buy position and automatically continue with a sell position of quantity 2?
Please can someone clarify this confusion
