I have started only equity option in my trading account. Will I still be able to sell my Sov. Gold Bond holdings? Any Charges applicable for same?
After 5 years of holding, there is an exit load on SGB.
After 8 years of holding, there’s no exit charges.
But the 1st lot of SGB was issued in 2015,
EVen if u purchased in the 1st lot, u can’t exit at this point!
Also, SGB (Similar to MF/equity delivery) will go into ur demat acc, not trading acc.
So you’ll need to put ur SGB into ur demat acc before being able to trade.
