I was exploring the “Technicals” section in Zerodha and found it very useful (now I regret not looking at it earlier 
).
The indicators in the “Oscillators” section are pretty much independent i.e. the MACD indicator alone is enough to determine a bullish or bearish signal. But the indicators under the “Moving Averages” section give out a very vague signal. For example in the attached screenshot, the EMA(5) and SMA(5) show a BULLISH signal.
I’m curious as to why the signal is BULLISH. Is it being compared with any other moving average or is it BULLISH with respect to the previous value of the EMA? Any information regarding this would be helpful in taking a decision.
